The President of the National Olympic Committee of Sierra Leone, Dr. Patrick Coker, says athletes with disabilities brought joy and honor to the country, after the Para Sport in Tokyo.
He says that the NOC included Para Sports in their programs in order to give an opportunity for people living with disabilities to practice sports, which has today led to the great show of the athletes in the midst of world Stars.
Dr. Coker says he is satisfied with the performance of the athletes even though they did not win medals. As he says, such a big event is not all about winning medals but for athletes to showcase their talents and also project their countries.
